Cartography of Dreams
This series explore the attempt to reconstruct identity through an ‘archaeology of memory.’ It mainly focuses on early childhood (ages 0–3) – a stage where memories are not direct, but rather mediated through parental narratives.
The central motif of the series is a trail of ants carrying objects, where each object represents a significant event that shaped my world. Through the excavation of these objects from consciousness, I examine the relationship between forgetting and the foundation upon which my personal and artistic identity is built.
